Hello! everybody, in this article I want to share my thoughts on the benefits of being a web developer. As a web developer, you can either be a front-end developer, a back-end developer, or a full-stack developer. All three options are good and it’s up to you what role you want to play. So following are the five benefits of being a web developer.
Number One : Work from Anywhere
You can work from anywhere as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection and your laptop. You’ll get to go if you work from home your commute is not an issue and this will give you more time to code to learn and to work out. Getting to manage your time according to you is the biggest boon that many strive for. You also don’t need to worry about a dress code now that’s a major plus working from home saves you money and food transportation and clothing. This will remove a lot of day-to-day hustle and can save you plenty of time.
Number Two: Lot’s of Ways to Make Money
There are various ways to make money as a web developer. You could be a freelancer, which is what I do. So, you can take advantage of remote work opportunities. You can sell templates, themes, and plugins. That’s something I also do as well. You can make money via ads on your blog, you do have a blog right. You could also create how-to videos be a web consultant or you can work for an agency or a company either full-time or part-time.
Number Three : High Income Potential
High potential skilled web developers are some of the highest-paid workers and are high on the map. Think about it every single business or startup will need a website so this means you’ll always have employment. Even if you are not paid as per your expectations, you can easily switch. You just have to know where to look and thousands of high-paying opportunities are waiting for you. Though doing something completely owned by yourself is always an option.
Number Four: You’re the Boss of Yourself
Now, this is one of my favorite ones. You get to control your time you can wake up whenever you want. You can also go to sleep whenever you want. Nobody can stop you from taking a coffee break or eat whenever you want. One gets to choose the projects one wants to work on. Setting up your schedule for the day is in your hands. You got to do work in order to get paid. So you got to be disciplined with your schedule that’s why automation is vital to a web developer
Number Five: Always Learning
There’s always gonna be something new for you to learn and this is gonna improve your problem-solving skills. It’ll increase your creativity and it’ll keep you high in demand. You can learn from websites from videos from books and boot camps. One thing to keep in mind is you’re never gonna learn it all and this might be intimidating or frustrating to some but for me, I like the fact that I get to learn something new every single day.
